RESTON, VA — Tues., July 28, 2026 — Kameke Mitchell, Sr. Director of Emerging Markets at MetroStar, has received the 2026 Outstanding Fellow Award from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), the organization's highest individual honor, presented at NCMA's Annual Conference.
The Outstanding Fellow Award recognizes NCMA members whose work has advanced both the contracting profession and the NCMA community, with impact extending well beyond their own organization. Recipients are selected against a defined set of criteria measuring sustained contribution and demonstrated commitment to the field.
"Contracting professionals are more than compliance; we are strategic enablers of the nation’s mission. Every acquisition decision has the potential to strengthen our national security, foster innovation, and deliver meaningful outcomes for the warfighter," said Mitchell. “This award recognizes those committed to rebuilding that process rather than bypassing it. Throughout my career, I have advocated for contracting professionals to be involved early in discussions, not just to approve decisions at the end. NCMA has provided a platform for this perspective."
