Reston, VA, Wed., Sept. 20, 2023 - MetroStar proudly welcomes Hannah Hunt as the newly appointed Distinguished Technical Fellow. Hunt is a trailblazer in the defense and intel community with a unique, vibrant approach to government contracting that differentiates her from many in the industry.
With over a decade of citizen-impacting work, Hunt brings a diverse, wide-ranging set of experiences to MetroStar. She’s worked with several federal agencies, such as the Department of State, the Department of Treasury, the Department of Defense, and has made the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the Enterprise IT category for her work leading organizational and digital transformation and scaling the U.S. Air Force’s Kessel Run from 200 to 1,400 members in a year and a half.
When asked why she’s excited about her career journey and the work she’s been able to accomplish, she attributes it to her strong belief in the power of positivity and the potential of people.
With a strong academic background in International Relations and Affairs from American University, including a master’s degree focusing on Global Governance, Politics, and Security, Hunt possesses the intellectual prowess to navigate complex challenges with ease. Her commitment to continuous learning has allowed her to stay at the forefront of emerging trends in technology and leadership.
Beyond her academic achievements, Hunt's professional experience speaks volumes about her expertise. From leading innovation-driven initiatives as Chief Product and Innovation Officer at the Army Software Factory to serving as Chief of Staff for the U.S. Air Force’s Software Factory Kessel Run, she has demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking, adaptability, and a relentless drive for excellence.
Hunt aims to continue to accelerate MetroStar as a leading provider of digital transformation in the government space with an emphasis on growing AI/ML capabilities in the company.
