Our Collaborative Action of Responsible Employees (CARES) program represents our commitment to giving back to communities, both at home and globally.
In alignment with our core virtues and CARES program, we have partnered with the Pittsburgh Knights and SoftGiving to support the upcoming Wiz and Friend's Charity Twitch Livestream. Join Wiz Khalifa and his celebrity friends as he launches his Twitch channel on July 11, 2020 by hosting an 8-hour livestream. Donations collected will directly benefit the nonprofit, Rise Above The Disorder (RAD).
RAD provides universal mental healthcare to youth worldwide. Since 2017, RAD has covered the cost of care for over 35,000 people across 132 countries. RAD has built a community—with an emphasis on education and advocacy within the gaming community—that fosters hope and happiness to those in need. The CEO and Founder, Jason Docton, found that online gaming helped him during his personal struggle with depression, anxiety, and agoraphobia.
Advocacy for mental health programs and awareness is vital to MetroStar, as our people-first culture means ensuring the health and wellness of our team in all aspects.
Fans who donate before June 29 will have the chance to play with Wiz Khalifa during the event. One random donor and the top donor will have the opportunity to play.
