Reston, VAAli Reza Manouchehri, CEO and Co-Founder of MetroStar, won WashingtonExec's 2022 Chief Executive Officer Award in the Private Company, Annual Revenue <$150M category.

The Chief Officer Awards finalists were published on March 25, with winners announced on May 11 at The Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Virginia.

The various awards "recognize the most impactful and innovative executives in government and industry sitting in the C-suite." Awardees and those nominated have shown positive, impactful leadership in the government sector.

Manouchehri continues to attribute his people for the impact MetroStar has made in the industry. From day one, the co-founders aimed to create a company that not only put its people first but one that transformed the way our Nation's government serves the American people in the digital age.

"This award reflects our amazing people at MetroStar, who are committed to excellence and innovation and have a passion for serving the missions across our government," said Manouchehri. "I take great pride in leading this amazing team and am excited to unlock the solutions and digital services that drive change in government."

The last two years have unlocked immense growth for the company. The MetroStar team booked over $130 million and onboarded over 85 new employees in the first quarter of 2022. MetroStar also recently announced its commitment to expanding their second headquarters in Bloomington, Indiana.

Building a team of innovators and changemakers is a must at MetroStar. Manouchehri finds nothing "more fulfilling than seeing leaders across the organization come together and execute work towards common goals and visions." He told WashingtonExec in a pre-award interview. "[Our] growth is truly a reflection of camaraderie and commitment across the entire organization.
