MetroStar and Quansight Enable Open Source AI Testing Throughout DoD

RESTON, VA, Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023– MetroStar, a leading IT and digital services and solutions provider, and Quansight, a data, science, and engineering firm, have been awarded a contract within the Joint AI Test Infrastructure Capability (JATIC) program. This award marks a major milestone and further solidifies their positions as trusted government contractors.

The contract is set for a base period of one year. During this time, JATIC will enable artificial intelligence (AI) testing throughout the Department of Defense (DoD), the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO), and the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Directorate by providing the necessary tools for comprehensive AI model T&E.

MetroStar’s focus on AI aligns with the DoD’s broader mission of adopting and developing Responsible AI. MetroStar’s data experimentation platform, Onyx, will be utilized during this award. Quansight, also leaders in solving AI/ML blockers, will provide the open-source data science platform Nebari, a tool designed to be deployed and managed without DevOps expertise.

JATIC software will be usable within many different T&E and machine learning (ML) workflows, leveraging features like test automation, experiment tracking, and visualization dashboards to provide powerful new insights.
