RESTON, VA—MetroStar proudly announces the appointment of Ruben Cruz, Esq., as the new Director of Contracts and Procurement.

A member of the Pennsylvania Bar and a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Ruben has dedicated his career to public duty, serving as a U.S. Air Force Captain before transitioning to the Federal civilian sector through his work with the Department of Defense (DoD) and government agencies.

Prior to MetroStar, Ruben served as the Army Artificial Intelligence Integration Center (AI2C) Director of Finance and Business Operations. This organization was established under U.S. Army Futures Command and endeavored to narrow the existing artificial intelligence (AI) capability gap by leveraging current technological applications to enhance warfighters’ capabilities.

“At MetroStar, I’m excited about this new opportunity supporting operations, compliance, risk management, and more as the company continues to grow with their Federal and commercial customers,” said Cruz.

Ruben’s expertise on executive mission-centric goals and solutions represents MetroStar’s investment in nurturing current and future work with customers who are seeking to secure the Nation during ever-changing technological and digital needs.
