MetroStar Names Ryan Abbott as VP of Defense and Intel Operations

Reston, VA - Ryan Abbott joins MetroStar as the Vice President of Defense and Intel Operations. As an Army veteran who transitioned to government contracting, Ryan strengthens both MetroStar’s defense operations and our expansion across strategic accounts. Acting as a strategic leader, Ryan aims to solve key challenges for our service members and their missions by removing roadblocks. He will do this by leveraging emerging technology in areas like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to enhance large-scale solutions in an efficient and cost-effective way.

Ryan’s rich expertise is from 18+ years of experience supporting growth and operations in the Defense, Federal, Intelligence, and Commercial sectors. Ryan joins MetroStar after serving in key leadership roles including the Senior Vice President of Operations for Cornerstone Defense and Program Manager for Sotera Defense Solutions.
