Across the government, investment in artificial intelligence (AI) and modernization continues to grow. But progress isn’t measured by platforms delivered or features launched. It’s measured by whether people use that technology to solve real operational problems.

One thing I've learned in product leadership is that adoption tells you something no roadmap ever can: whether you've solved a problem people actually care about.

The launch of MetroStar’s product portfolio is proving that point. Sapphire, Midas, and Sightline address distinct operational challenges, and growing demand across national security and Department of War (DoW) organizations shows why that matters. When products solve problems people care about, adoption follows.

## **Sapphire: Turning Visibility into Action**

Government IT environments don't suffer from a lack of data. Teams have more dashboards, monitoring tools, and alerts than ever before, but more information doesn't automatically translate to better decisions. Bringing information together is useful, but visibility alone doesn't solve problems. The real value comes from understanding what matters and knowing what to do next.

That's where [Sapphire](https://www.metrostar.com/sapphire/) comes in.

MetroStar was selected to support a national security mission with Sapphire, our AI-enabled observability platform for secure voice communications. Sapphire connects operational data, identifies patterns, and helps teams better understand complex IT environments. Because observability shouldn't just tell you what is happening. It should help you decide what to do about it. We are excited to support the national security mission as a trusted partner utilizing Sapphire.

## **Midas: Bringing Control to Complex AI Workflows**

AI has enormous potential to help government teams solve complex technical problems. Realizing that potential requires consistent, traceable, and secure outputs across different models and domain contexts. A robust test harness, decision provenance, and domain-specific context engineering make that possible.

Metrostar's agentic AI platform, [Midas](https://www.metrostar.com/midas/), brings these capabilities together, giving customers visibility into how AI is used, clear governance, and human oversight when decisions matter. Recent adoption of Midas in support of Intelligence Community (IC) and U.S. Army initiatives reflects growing interest in governed AI and human-centered automation.

Midas brings structure, oversight, and accountability to complex technical workflows. Configurable workflows, audit logs, and human approvals keep teams involved and give them visibility into how work gets done. For continuous ATO (Authorization to Operate) readiness, that means automating control evidence collection and package preparation to support the authorization process. Teams can define the tools AI uses, configure approval seps, and review record of its actions.

The goal is to make AI useful, trustworthy, and practical for the people responsible for critical missions.

## **Sightline: Bringing Technology to the Frontline**

When we talk about digital transformation, the conversation often centers on office-based work, from modernizing systems to automating everyday workflows. But some of our nation’s most critical work happens far from a desk. Aircraft maintainers, technicians, mechanics, and other skilled workers often rely on manual communication, fragmented information, and disconnected workflows. As demands around staffing, safety, training, and operational readiness grow, so does the need for technology designed around how these teams actually work.

That's where [Sightline](https://www.metrostar.com/sightline/) comes in.

Sightline brings connected intelligence to blue-collar workers, giving hands-on professionals access to live video, remote expertise, and AI-powered knowledge. It also helps capture work as it happens, preserving valuable experience, and turning it into reusable knowledge that can support warfighters.

We’re seeing that approach gain traction. Building on [previously announced work at Travis Air Force Base](https://blog.metrostar.com/news/ai-powered-maintenance-platform-iris-selected-by-u.s.-air-force-at-travis-air-force-base), we're expanding our U.S. Air Force footprint through Sightline deployments at Kirtland Air Force Base and Tinker Air Force Base. The goal is to give blue-collar workers and warfighters the information and expertise they need, where and when they need it. <https://www.metrostar.com/sightline/>

## **What These MetroStar Product Wins Mean for What’s Next**

Customer selections and deployments are milestones worth celebrating. But to me, the bigger story is what they’re telling us: government organizations are choosing technology built to solve real mission challenges at speed. Across different missions, customers want solutions that help them make better decisions, modernize faster, and equip the people carrying out critical work. That’s what we’ve built with Sapphire, Midas, and Sightline. Products designed to advance our Nation’s missions.

But we're not stopping there. How can we make legacy modernization even easier? Help teams turn information into action faster? Give frontline workers better access to the knowledge they need? These are the challenges we're already tackling, and we'll continue pushing what's possible. The real measure of success isn't just getting selected, rather it's how quickly our products start delivering mission value and the outcomes they enable for our customers.

As MetroStar and [Steampunk](https://steampunk.com/) come together, we have an exciting opportunity to pair our products with Steampunk’s [Design Intelligence®](https://steampunk.com/?_ga=2.131564367.1580438088.1793113274-626258650.1785767590) delivery framework. Together, we can bring them to more customers and missions with a focus on quality, speed, and the people who use them.

We're building on real momentum, and I'm excited about what's ahead.
