In today's tech-driven world, recruiters' roles have transformed from traditional methods to a more dynamic approach involving content creation and online engagement. At MetroStar, Holman plays a critical role in enhancing employer branding. Holman believes that employer branding helps to attract and retain top talent, so she focuses on creating a positive image of MetroStar by showcasing its [values, culture, and work environment](https://www.metrostar.com/culture/) through various forms of media. "Recruiters really need to contribute to the employer’s brand by acting as ambassadors for the company and helping candidates envision a future within the organization," said Holman. "This can help align candidate expectations with the company's culture and ethos, which can lead to a better cultural fit and long-term retention." ## **Employer Branding Strategies** In the podcast, Holman shared several effective techniques for employer branding, emphasizing the importance of leveraging social media to highlight company culture and employee achievements. By encouraging employees to share positive experiences on social media, companies can provide authentic, real-time insights into their workplace environment, showcasing day-to-day activities and team events to create a relatable and engaging brand image that attracts potential candidates. "I think all these platforms \[social media\], they're really vital in shaping an employer brand as they provide an authentic account," said Holman. "And that's why I lean into it as much as I do; I definitely see a lot of value there." Holman also highlighted the importance of GovCon companies having an engaging and informative website. According to Holman, a well-designed website should immediately grab attention and provide valuable information. This strong online presence not only helps attract top talent but also reflects the company's credibility and values.
