RESTON, VA., Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025 —As agencies move artificial intelligence (AI) out of the lab and into daily operations, Pentagon partner MetroStar has named Bryan Eovito Senior Director of Strategy and Growth. Eovito brings more than three decades of leadership in cyber and AI, which will enable MetroStar to more quickly scale secure, mission-ready solutions.

“AI isn’t a side project anymore; it’s the battlespace,” Eovito said. “My mission is to deliver AI that operators trust: dependable, repeatable, and constantly learning at the edge. That starts with listening, asking the hard ‘how do we’ and ‘why do we’ questions, and building with speed and purpose. MetroStar moves with the mission. That’s why I’m here. To turn AI into decisive advantage for the warfighter and make MetroStar the partner commanders count on when it matters most.”

Over a distinguished 32-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps, Eovito’s operational leadership spanned cyberspace, space, special operations, and advanced technology domains, driving integrated mission capabilities across the Joint Force. Most recently, he commanded the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group, leading over 2,500 personnel and overseeing a $1.5 billion modernization portfolio focused on securing global enterprise systems and transitioning emerging technologies, including AI, from concept to operational deployment.

Eovito’s impact extended well beyond the operational realm. At Headquarters Marine Corps, he shaped enterprise modernization strategies across Zero Trust architecture, cloud adoption, 5G integration, and network unification. While serving at the Pentagon, he advised the DoD CIO on department-wide IT and cyber investments, played a key role in establishing the Chief AI and Data Office, and engaged closely with the White House, Congress, and Interagency partners. A consistent thread throughout his career has been translating strategic vision into operational systems that deliver real-world impact for warfighters.

“Federal missions are shifting to production-scale AI, and Bryan’s track record shows he can turn that momentum into outcomes that matter for warfighters,” said Pete Nelson, Chief Growth Officer at MetroStar. “He understands the acquisition chessboard and the edge environment, ensuring the solutions MetroStar develops are dependable, governable, and tactically useful on day one.” The timing of Eovito’s hire aligns with broader federal pushes to speed responsible AI adoption and streamlines acquisition, making this a moment for practical deployment.

Eovito holds an M.S. in Systems Technology (Naval Postgraduate School), a Master of Operational Studies (School of Advanced Warfighting), and an M.S. in Government Information Leadership (National Defense University’s College of Information and Cyberspace). He was also a 2023–2024 Seminar XXI Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

His personal decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal; Defense Meritorious Service Medal (one oak leaf cluster); Meritorious Service Medal (two gold stars); Joint Service Commendation Medal; Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal; Joint Service Achievement Medal; Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three gold stars); and the Army Achievement Medal.
