Reston, VA—MetroStar, a leading provider of information technology (IT) services for the public sector, has been awarded a five-year (plus) spot on the Army ITES-3S IDIQ contract.
Army ITES-3S is a $12 billion Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle structured for the U.S. Army, Department of Defense (DoD), and all other federal agencies acquiring reasonably priced, enterprise-level commercial IT services and solutions. This work is based out of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.
Under this contract, MetroStar will support the Global Enterprise Network Modernization - Americas (GENM-A) Army Program Executive Office in addition to the program management office support services.
GENM-A seeks to modernize installation network infrastructure (i.e., voice, video, data, and connectivity) at Army installations across the Continental United States (CONUS) by using standardized architecture and equipment from multiple vendors.
“We are excited to support Army and their continuous effort to modernize their infrastructure. Our team will be prepared on day one to deliver at the high standard at which MetroStar is capable,” said Ryan Abbott, MetroStar’s Vice President of Defense and Intel Operations.
These modernization efforts will enable strategic information sharing, enterprise services, and command and control while transforming the network into a more secure, centralized, operationalized, and sustainable enterprise.
“Our cross-functional capabilities and teams will deliver and integrate enterprise-wide and network-centric solutions to best support the warfighters and their mission,” Abbott said.
