COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — Tues., June 23, 2026 — MetroStar, a leading technology and digital transformation firm specializing in mission-driven solutions for the U.S. federal government, today announced it has signed a lease for office space and established a formal partnership at the Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation (CCTI) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This strategic move positions MetroStar shoulder to shoulder with U.S. Space Force and its Guardians, reinforcing the company’s unwavering commitment to serving the nation’s newest military branch and the broader Space domain.
MetroStar's expansion to the Colorado Springs market reflects a deliberate strategy and institutional respect for Space Force's mission. Backed by Veritas Capital's Vantage Fund, MetroStar has the resources and mandate to invest in the communities it serves — not just for the duration of a contract, but for the long term. As a CCTI Partner, MetroStar will operate within an innovation ecosystem purpose-built to accelerate capabilities for the Space domain, embedding its technologists and subject matter experts in direct proximity to the Guardians they serve. The new Colorado Springs offices extend MetroStar's national footprint and create a dedicated hub for Space Force-focused digital transformation, data, and cloud modernization programs.
The Colorado Springs office is led by Doug Edwards, MetroStar’s Senior Director for Space, who brings extensive experience supporting aerospace and national security missions. Under his leadership, MetroStar’s Space team will work to deepen relationships with Space Force program offices and Guardians, contribute to CCTI-led innovation initiatives, and deliver mission-enabling technology solutions with the same service ethos that has defined MetroStar throughout its history.
“We came to Colorado Springs to serve,” said Edwards. "Space Force Guardians are doing consequential, complex work every day, and MetroStar is here to stand beside them with humility, dedication, and the full weight of our technical capability. CCTI is the right place for that kind of shoulder-to-shoulder partnership, and we are honored to be part of this community.”
MetroStar brings to CCTI a distinguished heritage rooted in decades of service to the U.S. Air Force, the Department of War (DoW), and the Intelligence Community (IC). That legacy, built on trust, technical rigor, and a practitioner's understanding of complex national security environments, now turns its focus to the Space domain. Additionally, the company's commitment to local investment is not new. MetroStar's presence in Bloomington, Indiana stands as an example of how the company creates lasting economic impact through job growth and community partnership wherever it establishes roots. The company's proven frameworks for human-centered design, agile software delivery, data analytics, and enterprise cloud modernization translate directly to the operational and strategic challenges facing Space Force as it rapidly matures as a Service.
“We're very excited that Metrostar has chosen Catalyst Campus to be the hub of their expansion into Colorado. Metrostar's commercial offerings in support of national security align well with Catalyst Campus' mission to get innovative technology into operational use,” said Amy Abbott, Executive Director of CCTI.
CCTI provides an unparalleled environment for this mission. As Colorado Springs’ premier innovation campus co-located with Space Force assets, CCTI connects defense industry partners, government stakeholders, and technology innovators in a collaborative setting designed to accelerate real-world outcomes. MetroStar’s formal partnership status within the CCTI ecosystem signals a long-term commitment and active participation in the programs, initiatives, and relationships that define the future of Space operations.
On July 30 from 3–5 p.m., MetroStar is hosting a kick-off event at Catalyst Campus to share its experience delivering solutions to the U.S. Federal Government, including live demos of its products built for the missions. If you're part of the Colorado Springs defense and Space community, this is an opportunity to meet the team and see the team's technology firsthand.
