Reston, VA—Ali Reza Manouchehri, CEO and Co-Founder of MetroStar, won WashingtonExec's 2022 Chief Executive Officer Award in the Private Company, Annual Revenue <$150M category.
The Chief Officer Awards finalists were published on March 25, with winners announced on May 11 at The Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Virginia.
The various awards "recognize the most impactful and innovative executives in government and industry sitting in the C-suite." Awardees and those nominated have shown positive, impactful leadership in the government sector.
Manouchehri continues to attribute his people for the impact MetroStar has made in the industry. From day one, the co-founders aimed to create a company that not only put its people first but one that transformed the way our Nation's government serves the American people in the digital age.

The last two years have unlocked immense growth for the company. The MetroStar team booked over $130 million and onboarded over 85 new employees in the first quarter of 2022. MetroStar also recently announced its commitment to expanding their second headquarters in Bloomington, Indiana.

Manouchehri finds nothing "more fulfilling than seeing leaders across the organization come together and execute work towards common goals and visions." He told WashingtonExec in a pre-award interview. "[Our] growth is truly a reflection of camaraderie and commitment across the entire organization. Building a great team is what excites me to keep going."
Fellow nominated finalists included Eric Olson of Buchanan & Edwards, Promod Sharma of Criterion Systems, Inc., Dr. Steven Omick of Riverside Research, and Tony Crescenzo of Intelligent Waves, LLC.
