Hunt is a trailblazer in the defense and intel community. Her unique, vibrant approach to government contracting differentiates her from many in the industry. During the podcast, she chats about her transition into industry and her government burnout.

“I was emotionally investing so much into outcomes that were certainly out of my control...and so when things didn’t go the way that I wanted them to go, that really took an emotional toll on me,” said Hunt during the podcast. “I was actually going to leave any government-type world and go commercial because I was just so fed up.”

With over a decade of citizen-impacting work, Hunt brings a diverse, wide-ranging set of experiences to her work. She’s been with several federal agencies, such as the Department of State, the Department of Treasury, the Department of Defense, and has made the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the Enterprise IT category for her work leading organizational and digital transformation and scaling the U.S. Air Force’s Kessel Run from 200 to 1,400 members in a year and a half.

Ultimately, Hunt knew she needed to stay where the missions were. “There’s nothing like being in the government and being able to make a mission impact,” said Hunt in the podcast.

At MetroStar, she is actively working on MetroStar’s CDAO JATIC Platform, for which MetroStar is the prime contractor. The Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) established the Joint AI Test Infrastructure Capability (JATIC) platform to develop software tools for the comprehensive testing and evaluation (T&E) of AI models within the Department of Defense (DoD). The platform's primary goal is to ensure the performance, effectiveness, robustness, and safety of AI-enabled systems used by the DoD.

"I love bringing a user-focused and product mindset to the JATIC T&E Platform effort with the CDAO AI Assurance team. We are supporting the development of the JATIC T&E Platform development for data scientists to evaluate AI/ML Models,” said Hunt. “We are making a big impact by providing a secure and compliant platform for data science users and organizations to enhance their AI Assurance mission goals."
