Reston, VA—MetroStar announced the appointment of Rachel F. Cohen as the new Chief Growth Officer to lead the Business Development, Capture, Solutions, and Proposal teams in expanding MetroStar’s services with current and new customers.
In her new role, Cohen will partner with Operations to drive sustainable and predictable growth for MetroStar and develop strategy to win key business to support corporate development.
Cohen joins MetroStar after a 25-year tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton where she served as a Vice President in the Army Account overseeing a team providing a broad spectrum of advanced technology and consulting solutions in support of the nation’s warfighters and civilians.
With decades of federal and non-profit consulting experience, she has a Six Sigma Black Belt and has led many large-scale Lean Six Sigma and business process reengineering jobs in the Army, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and other government agencies and intelligence businesses.

Cohen has earned many accolades, including Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Chairman’s Award in 2011 for leadership in improving Arlington National Cemetery’s management operations and processes. In 2015, she received a Booz Allen Excellence Award for leadership in the firm’s work with the Army on Diversity & Inclusion efforts.
