Former CGI Executive Named MetroStar’s Chief Operating Officer

MetroStar Systems, a Reston, VA based IT company, announces the appointment of Patrick Dougherty as Chief Operating Officer. With extensive management experience spanning nearly three decades, Dougherty brings valuable leadership and wisdom to MetroStar’s executive team during a period of rapid growth. In this role, Dougherty will focus strongly on expansion throughout the entirety of the organization. Both his leadership experience coupled with strategic thinking and proven ability to align operations will be instrumental in the execution of MetroStar’s strategic objectives and desire to drive sustainable advancement.

Partnered with an aggressive expansion strategy, Dougherty will work to broaden our reach into customers like the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Dougherty brings MetroStar a wealth of operational, tactical, strategic, and financial experience that is critical for a mid-sized government contractor competing against larger government entities.
